I started this build a few years ago( https://www.hdforums.com/forum/custo...sportster.html ) then I ran out of time and ambition. I'm thinking of putting it on Craigslist but I have no idea what people would be willing to spend. Maybe $2,000? $?$?
What would you be willing to hand over for this? The engine is assembled and will run once oil lines and electrical components are hooked up.

A little more info please. What year/ size motor? Frame/ motor title? Is that all you have or other parts. You might do better parting it out, Motor/ frame/ springer/ wheels. I like the wheels. If you were close by and the motor ran I would pop $2000. Put it on CL, see what happens. Good Luck...

Thanks for the replies.
Yes, Invader wheels front and back, vintage springer, 1991 freshly rebuilt top end 1200 cc engine. It'll have to have a "custom build" title once it's complete and go through an inspection.
I have almost all the parts to get 'er going. It needs a turn signal module and ignition module. My father in law wired it up for me this past winter so it's almost ready.

I am in the process getting the parts I have on the bike so I can post some assembled pics, hopefully before the weekend.

The retail on that Sporty is about $3K. Given the condition (basket) of your bike and the fact it will require a different registration, and that it needs parts and assembly, you will be lucky to get $2K for it. It's probably worth that much, but it needs paint and parts not to mention assembly so someone will need to want it bad to pay that much for it. Someone probably would though. You could probably make out a lot better on it if you could finish it because it has potential and will probably be worth more than what's in it when done. It would be a lot easier to sell then to. To bad you can't get it done.
