Been checking the colors for this 2014 model year.

Some good changes aesthetically across the full line, but these colors are really awful.

Morocco Gold Pearl, Sand Pear/Canyon Brown, Mysterious Red Sunglow, Daytona Blue Pearl, Amber Whiskey.

It's pretty sad when Black or Charcoal Pearl is the only color I can stomach.

How about regular Red, Blue, Orange, Yellow as choices. And all those metal flakes?

Yes I agree. To each his own, but I am having a hard time with the newer ones as well. I think HD has left me behind.

 

I like black, so I'm all good.
I do really like the charcoal pearl and the Daytona Blue, but the rest I agree with you.
I'm with you on they should offer colors more like traditional red, blue, yellow, etc.

 

I am also good with black on any bike. If not black, then silver or gray will do. So, it is easy to find what I like.

 

I'm not in the market for a new bike so I haven't even been to a dealer to see the colors in person to know what looks decent or not.

 

No manufacture sells plain old yellow, blue etc. they haven't for years!!

Amber whiskey and Daytona blue are hit sellers

 

The 2013 Red Sunglow was great.

 

Daytona blue was hypnotizing enough to get me to put down a deposit on a new FLHTK.

 

New line of bikes and new colors. Times are a changin' and it looks like HD is probably watching the aftermarket color scheme choices that people on putting on their bikes, and trying to gain attention from the flashy crowd of buyers.

 

IMHO ... the Daytona Blue Pearl is real real nice.
