Default what's it mean when

I have a s&s super e cab my bikes running like **** right now. I turned my gas off on the switch and today I unscrewed my gas line from my carb. When I removed my hose I'd say a good 2 sec heavy flow gas puked out the hole. Is my carb not set up right could this be why it runs like ****. When I ride it it sputters and jerks back and fourth like its outta gas. And oil seems to puke out the air filter part and drip on my cam cover. Very frustrating plz help

Check that your gas cap is venting. Run the bike with the cap loose. EZ things first. Good luck.

Yep. If the float is set too high it could be allowing too much fuel in the carb.

I had that problem a while back and my tank wasn't venting properly and kept getting vapor lock, which presented itself as you are describing. I changed the caps and that didn't exactly fix it. Then i realized the after market tank was set up so that the caps had no where to vent. So i sliced some divits into the gas cap gasket to allow for some air. The problem ceased. Easy fix, if that is what is wrong. If not that, then your bowl might be stuck or jammed with some dirt.

So I bought my softail chopper with a std panhead motor 6 gear trans. Ran good for a while other then it pukin oil out my crank case breather after ever ride. I was riding home and it sounded a little funny when I started it like it wasnt running on all cylinders. When you rev it up it kinda sputterds. I changed all 4 plugs they were super black I started it sounded perfect reved perfect. I go to ride it and it sputters again and acts like my gass is off. I got to down **** to keep up speed and if I give it full throttle it falls on its face and jerks back and forth like its outta gas. And it doesnt back crackle like normal. Anyone have any idea what it could be. I hope my description is helpful. I have an s&s super e carb. I don't know if its valves need adjusting or accelerator pump maybe carb tuning ignition or what I'm cluess

Default Trash

Trash in the gas, needle seat hung up so float does not shut off gas flow. Floods engine...plugs fouled. no vent on cap will slow gas flow! like chugging beer without a hole on bottom of can. Some pans and many shovels had their heads moded for 2 plugs per cyl. still could be a troll.

Dude, he is no troll. Also he posted a pic in a similar thread showing the dual head plugs. They are an option. Your idea about vents on gas caps is a good check though and an easy one
