Default Heritage Softail Classic width

I have on order a new Heritage Softail Classic. Should be getting it next week. I don't have a proper garage but do have a store room with double doors that I am going to keep it in.

I am going to have to widen the doors to get the bike in comfortably but not sure by how much. Does anyone know the width of the FLSTC at its widest point?

slightly under 40" with HD fat mini apes (pretty close to stock bars), 33" at the footboards, 27" at the saddlebags.

43 inches wide at the engine guard with highway pegs down, and 59 inches tall with stock windshield on...

You may want to get the center stand for the bike. On the side stand it will take more room in the shed as it leans.

Thanks guys. Out with the hammer and chisel. Definitely a wider door needed! Once it is in there is no problem. Just getting it in is going to be the problem.

I move my Heritage into my basement during the winter, I have a 36" door and I have to remove the highway bars and saddlebags to fit it in there. So I would make it at least 48" IMO.
