Looking for owners in the Sacramento , Ca. area !
I am helping the Mount Vernon Memorial Lawn in Fair Oaks select participants for their 12 annual AMERICAN HERITAGE DAY event on Feb. 17th. 2014 ( Presidents day ) .This is a special community program that lets American History come to life for the day . Organizations representing the American revolution & Civil Wars , Mountain Men , Cow Boys & Gold panning for the kids , Wells Fargo Coach , Quilting & tapestry demos. , Vintage & Classic Automobile history, Aviation history with Radio Control models , and more. For this next event we are adding more Automobiles from Model T's through 1965 , A Viet Nam era U.S. Army Huey Helicopter , Scale model Live Steamer Trains , and a nice display of Vintage , Classic & Custom Cycles .
We are looking for owners of Early 1900's cycles , 50's , W.W. 2 cycles and a few Wild Custom Cycles !
Space is limited and participants are by invitation only !! If you have a Special Historical or unique looking Cycle and would like to be part of the event , please send me a picture and details about the cycle along with your contact information . If you are selected as one of the exhibitors , you will be contacted by Mount Vernon and sent details & the invitation .
Set up stats at 8:a.m. that morning and the event is open FREE to the public from 10: a.m. to 2: p.m.
There is no charge to the exhibitors . There is plenty of free parking for those who would like to just bring the family & enjoy this colorful & exciting community event . If you live in Sacramento County or close by & would like to participate , please contact me soon so we can review your entry & make a decision .
