Default Love Ride 30th Anniversary

LONGEST-RUNNING SINGLE-DAY MOTORCYCLE FUNDRAISING EVENT IN THE WORLD

My short review of the first Love Ride I went to. People were saying it's not even close to previous by number of participants, but still it was the biggest event I've been to (I'm still new to it)

Event started at 6am at Glendale Harley Davidson dealership.
I came a bit late (had to work in the morning ) so I missed Jay Leno speech.

A lot of great bikes, those two were awesome

This is an interesting one

Some of the bikers
This dude was actually riding like that with his dog

Real biker! Tremendous respect to this gentelman

Me. Just a few sportsters.

Lake Castaic - one of the parkings

V8 in a bike - wow, that is a monster

Vendors, good food trucks, beer, enough of restrooms. Entertainment program was good. It was a bit hot - around 85 I guess, but free water and Rockstar drinks.

Everybody waited for the band Chevy Metal. They had special guest - Dave Grohl from Foo Figters. That was an awesome performance!

Good-looking fans

Nice event overall.

No offense, but you can have it. I try to avoid big rides like that at all cost, simply because there are too many morons & novice riders who go on them. This is the ride where Jay just missed being taken out, but unfortunately, a couple of people behind him didn't. If asked, I'll contribute to the charity, but riding with idiots isn't my idea of fun.

Glad you had a good time... but I'm with the comment above. Couple buddies and I went to the Love Ride 4 or 5 years ago. I made it two turns from the rally point and pulled out of line and went home.

Way too many morons practically playing bumper cars trying to control their bikes at slow speeds. No thanks.

It's good that I have experienced friends They actually explained it to me, so we waited like an hour after everybody left, and only then went there. It was nice and relaxed ride, with a small group. We also left late, no problems from other motorcyclists, only usual traffic and occasional stupid cagers

Looks like a good ride for a good cause. You do have to be careful on those rides because of all the idiots.

I went with some local guys from around town. Met at Harley of Westminster. Road to Castaic with a small group. Was a good ride. It was pretty low key at the site. Good music, decent food, some vendors, lots of shade and not too crowded at all. Saw this big ole burley guy ride in on a pink bike, wearing fur, viking horns, and big purple sun glasses. His ole-lady was on the back, wearing exactly the same outfit. I should have taken a pic.
