Been following this thread....
They recommend adding 1oz of two stroke motor oil (the ashless variety used in ultra lean running outboard engines, not the general purpose stuff) per 5 gal of gas in motorcycle and high performance car engines. Claimed 2-5% mpg increase and longer engine life.

yeah, outboard motors have always been known for getting good gas mileage...so if you use 4 ounces per 5 gallons you should get at least 10% better mileage. might even be able to hire out as a mosquito fogger if you mix it heavy enough. p.t. barnum was right.

I run a little 2 stroke oil in my shovelhead,flathead,and 46 Indian from time to time..Keeps the fuel tank from rusting and it aint going to hurt a thing..
