Not really a surprise. A lot of people wanted a cooler running bike and the '14 provided this. Me...I'll still with air.

 

Yeah they hit a home run with the improvements they made to the touring line.

 

Yet the stock is down over a dollar as of right now from this morning. Crazy.

 

Let's see what the recall does to next quarter's profits.

 

Motorcycle sales are only a small percentage of HDs profits. They make far more on parts and Motorclothes.

 

My local dealer has a whole warehouse full of "sold" '14s that they won't let people take delivery of because of the recall.

 

Flying off the dealer floor and right into the dealer service bay.

 

I am a stock holder and review the annual statement. I was surprised to learn that statement is wrong. I dug into it last year. The majority of income is from motorcycle sales.

 

I hope it is straightforward profit. Great to see an made in the USA company do well. I know parts come from all over etc but still
