Default Scary Demo Ride!

So went to local dealer for demo rides of new 2014's. Picked out the CVO Deluxe just for fun. Wanted to see what a 110 felt like in a Softail frame. All was well until we hit the highway. Then it felt like I was getting a flat front tire! Bike was all over the road. Fortunately, the high speed was over quickly. It felt fine at lower speeds. Got back and told the people running it. They did NOTHING! So I told the woman who was signed up next about it. She was like, meh, not worried, they wouldn't send out an unsafe bike...Yeah right! She came back after being on it 5 minutes...Still don't think they pulled it, but I left the area. Lawsuit waiting to happen there!

Bike did have good power...

Didn't even check air pressure?! Yep. I'd be done with them. That's scary.

That's weird...It was fine when I did that smoky burnout through the bar.

How do we know what the real story is? Admittedly, OP had never been on a bike like that and maybe he just wasn't used to the handling. Considering how litigious society is, do you really think a dealer would let an unsafe bike out on a demo?

Agreed, glad the OP got back safe but maybe there were road irregularities, paving/milling,rain grooves who knows.Ive had my front tire under inflated upto 14 psi ( not proud of it) and never felt any real bad handling or " flat tire" feel. Roads by me are a mess with paving,construction.. Not enough info to bash a dealer.

Did the tire look low when you got back? Or was that just what it felt like?

I wouldn't trust any dealer to check the air pressure. After that ride, I would have chewed some *** and pulled it into the service dept myself and have them check the pressure in front of me.

post on their facebook page (fast and easy), and on the Mocos page, you would be surprised at the speed of a corporate response. Ive done this with a couple companies which i had horrible experiences with, and got a call/email with in 48hrs from their main offices.
