SG Owners: What's Your Second Bike?
I posted this earlier today but in the wrong place. I'm looking at an '03 Fat Boy in Silver/Black as a town bike. The scooter is dead mint with 8900 miles on it and the price is right. I'll keep my '09 Streetglide til I can no longer ride, I love it that much. But it's a heavy bike for the two-mile city-ride ride to work, home for lunch, back to work routine. Kinda like to have what some would call a bar hopper -- 'cept I don't go to bars anymore.
So SG owners with two bikes or more: what's your choice of a bike that compliments your SG? Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

I bought a 06 FLHXI early this spring at NPA. Went back to buy wilfe a 883 or 1200 for a starter bike. Ended up buying a 99 FXDS Conv Low Rider. Big mistake, bike has 12" apes and is low, loud, and very powerful. Way to much bike for her. I kept as a run around town bike and love it. So easy to uncover, take a quick joy ride and make lot's of noise. Bike feel's too small for my size especially with controls right under but once in high and feet on forward pegs its like the bike is part of you. Its really nice to have both bikes to enjoy.

Don't have a SG, but I do have a RK Classic. Same deal, though - wanted something lighter and with more cajones than the bagger for my around town and short to mid range riding. At the time we were looking at another bike, my wife was riding a 1200 Custom, and I thought that a Lo would be a great in-between. On the shorter rides, we thought she'd ride her sporty, and I'd hop on the Lo, but for the longer rides, we'd go with the Lo and RK.
Great idea, in theory... but she never got her *** back off of the Lo. About 2 weeks later, I bought a Slim for my other bike. Now, the Sporty gets run for 15-20 miles per month, and the RK pretty much got parked except for some grocery runs, the rare occasion that I need to take a passenger, and, now that it's getting cold here, will be a better choice for me with the windshield, additional lighting, weight, and engine guard.
Both the Lo and the Slim are set up as solo-only bikes.
I don't ever see not having a bagger, and probably will keep the RK for a long time to come. It comes in handy for lots of things, but it's really a utility bike now, and not so much a daily rider. About 10 - 15 miles on the Slim for every 1 put on the RK.
