To Connecticut riders
Please "like" this spot on the Connecticut transportation site and add any non-desparaging comments. I too, am tired of seeing someone 1/10th of a second behind me at highway speed, and wondering if they're texting also. http://www.transformct.org/future-ge...ng-motorcycles

I'm in CT but am unable to add anything to your link because the options are

My choice of
"There are too many fvcken laws already. Enforce the ones we have and stop inventing new ones"
isn't an option. While I agree being tailgated while on the bike sucks, we don't need more laws. If you see someone coming up behind you at a fast rate of speed, move!!!

Would love to see them enforce existing laws, such as safe minimum distance, no passing on the right, no driving while being distracted, stuff like that. If they can't enforce existing laws, who the hell thinks they'd enforce more laws?

I don't know what to say .....The article reads like a 6th graders first essay.
To the point, aren't the situations described already covered by CT reckless driving and distracted driving laws?

Yeah I know, I don't really want more laws either. The thing is the highways are getting more like a third world country. Just once I'd like to see someone pulled over for texting when I see it 100 times a day.

The "can't even use while stopped" law was recently added.
You currently are allowed to talk via hands free device...which I'm not fond of, as IMO drivers engaged in a cell conversation can still be distracted quite a bit.
