Last weekend I posted about how the front end of my bike was crushed by an imbecile woman who panic reversed Into me while I was stopped at a crosswalk.

I got the insurance assement yesterday, 6k in damage, more or less a whole new front end is needed. Frame and neck is fine so it'll be fixed up for me.

I then asked the dealer the dreaded question, how long to fix it? Normally here this stuff can take months as parts for insurance builds are a low priority on the MoCo European shipping list.
Service guy looks at me and says, we have everything on stock except the fender, so If you can live without the fender for a few weeks you can have the bike end of next week!

That has never happened for me. Good for you.

 

Weather is getting cold but hasnt yet turned completely to crap.

I dont own a cage so getting the bike back so quick is real convenient.

 

Great, I like it when members reports when a dealer does good and helps them.

Easy to gripe about them and rightly so because they do mess up, but the also do a lot of good jobs and work.
It'd be nice if all who had a good experience reported it also.
If they did I believe their would be a lot More Atta-Boys than Ah-Chits if truth be known.
