Default 42 Flathead Spotted

Yesterday I saw this 42 Flathead in a parking lot in Collierville, TN.

Amazing condition.

I was a bit pressed for time...but now I wish I would have hung around for the owner, and found out the story behind this bike.

Beautiful looking bike. Heres a pic from the competition, a 41 sport scout I seen a few years ago during the Rhododendron festival in Florence Oregon.

IMO, no competition at all. The Indian's are okay, but to me just don't look anywhere near as good. Always hated those huge, swept fenders.

When I was in Cody, Wyoming, there was a '46 Chief parked right on the main drag. It had some wear and tear on it, but the cool part was the plate was from Illinois.

I agree, I would pick that HD flathead over the scout any day

Gorgeous 42. The only way I can think of to improve it would be to have it in my garage.
