Default Are these ENORMOUS front wheels catching on?

I thought this might be just a fad or a phase, but I saw not one, but two of these bagger type bikes out riding this weekend, with the most HUMONGOUS front wheels I have ever seen. And I mean huge!!! Not like 24 or 26 inch wheels either, these must have been 30 inches or bigger. I am totally aware that Harley fads come and go, but are these massive front wheel baggers the style of the future? I guess I am just more curious than anything. I support any mans right to build and ride whatever he wishes, without the peanut galley critiquing his every move, but man, if your riding one of these things, your just begging others to opine on your creations. Have you guys seen what I am talking about? I guess my question is, are these things a passing fad, or the next "gots to have it" machine???

I was on my bike, so there was no shooting cell phone pictures, but basically, this is what I saw:

They are one of the stupidest things I've seen. If someone wants to do that to a bike then more power to them, I'm sure I've done things to my bikes that others don't care for but those wheels are just over the top. Look at the rake on that first bike, I'm sure it's not ridden much but to me the whole point of a bagger is to ride really long periods of time comfortably.

If they ride / steer like crap (do they ?) - they won't be around long - except in the bike sales showrooms ... collecting dust

If you can't ride the hell out of them - what else are they good for ?

Are they the future pet rock ...

How is that first bike even utilized the front suspension with that kind of rake?

Looks like a "Penny Farthing" bicycle to me.

Like the clown cars with huge wheels, I guess I'll see these as clown bikes because they make me laugh when I look at them. But, to each their own and more power to them. Just ignore my laughter.

Cant help but compare them to those children's Big Wheel trikes that were so popular decades ago. Maybe its a childhood throwback.
