Default Waterproof Map pouch for Touring

Anyone know of a good magnetic map pouch for touring bikes? T-bags has a couple. Curious if anyone has used any in particular? Really prefer maps over GPS.

Thanks

You could always use adhesive to glue thin magnetic strips to a zip lock bag.
Glue them inside the bag to help protect the paint.

I use a tank bag with a clear map pocket on top.
Most maps are way to small to read while riding. I take a piece of paper and a thicker sharpie and write exit numbers and street names on each line that denotes turns.

Under the tank bag I lay rubber cabinet liner. It is sold at walmart. It won't slide on the paint and keeps the bag from sliding. It also keeps the bag from scratching the paint.

With a Harley, get the widest bag you can because our tanks are so wide.

The tank bag has become my favorite piece on the bike on long trips. I keep my phone, snacks, flashlight etc. in it. Everything I want in easy reach goes in my bag.

I rode up to Sturgis with a buddy who routinely wrote on the inside of his windshield the road and exit numbers or street names in sequence. Periodically he would wipe it off and write the next segment's info. I had never thought of doing that.

I have the Tbags map pouch. Have not used it for awhile since I got a GPS, but it worked well for many years.

I do this, too. A dry erase marker won't hurt the finish on your windshield and is easy to see. I also like to add how many miles between roads/exits. As you pass a point, just wipe it off and go to the next one!
