Default New (used) tank needs dent removal

Finally found a new tank for the Fatboy. (one I could afford) Gave up on trying to strip inside of the old one for now. This one is an 08, and has 3 dents in it, nothing horrid, but they will need to be repaired. I ordered a paint-less dent removal kit and am going to try that. Any one used the adhesive with the cross bar type kit before? I'll repaint all of my tins this winter but am going to throw it on and ride for a while first I think. I'm ok with a small amount of filler when I do the prep and repaint, but want to minimize the amount as much as possible.

Fill it with water, cap it tight, and throw it in the freezer.

You'll have to have about twice to 3 times the pressure any standard compressor is going to put out and the tank will split a seam rather explosively before a dent will move .

Worked for me. I guess it depends on the type and location of the dent.

Don't start in the middle of the dent, but start at the edge and go around in a circle working in toward the middle.
Don't use a real pointy end but a rounded one.
Instead of buying the tool make one specic for the area you are working.
Use at least half inch rod and a torch to bend the rod.
If the dent is in a impossible place weld pins on the outside and pull it out.
You can use heat on the tank, but make sure it is gas free before, and heat will ruin the inside coating.
Compressed air will work on a low crown area, but not on a area like the front of the tank.
I have heard of using dry ice but never tried it.
I have seen guys use the oil drum method to heat and srink the metal but not had much luck taking out dents.
Is it a carb tank or fulie?

I've tried compressed air on a couple tanks a few years ago. It worked very well on the first tank but the dent was very gradual an it popped out without problem using very little air. The second tank ended up deformed. It spread open quite a bit. I don't know, if it was mine and the dent wasn't that big I would just fill it.
