The stock cam plate in the 2013 motors ? I read that the newer units now have a larger oil pump and also larger veins to supply oil to the bearings. So I'm thinking was there a problem that they had to improve it again ! Does anyone know how much better this new unit is over the stock 2013 cam plate.

I guess I was under a bad assumption that the 2013 103 engines would already have the increased flow/scavenge oil pumps installed. I don't dare ask the dealership, not when they tell me HD won't warranty the clutch plates if HD syn3 cause a failure of the plates. Go figger!

I read somewhere that one guy was getting 15 to 20 lbs oil pressure at hot idle after putting that new screaming eagle kit in his 103. What I am really concerned with is cutting the foaming oil. I rode around the block on my 2013 103, opened the oil tank and it was bubbling like mt. Vesuvius. My blockhead never did that.
