Oval 3/4 helmets

Oval 3/4 helmets
I've been researching 3/4 helmets for a few months now, in preparation for when I pick up my new Street Bob on January 3rd. Every helmet I've come across that has a basic 3/4 design (Bell 500, Biltwell, etc) seems to have a round shape. I've tried them on, and they always press on the back of my head, and forehead, while leaving big gaps in the temples and cheeks, which I assume will catch a ton of wind.
Is there ANY 3/4 helmet out there that will fit an oval head shape? What has been your experience? I just want something simple and comfortable.

Interesting that the Biltwell didn't fit better for you. I have a similar shaped head that can give me excessive front-back pressure and was told somewhere that the Biltwell Classic actually fits this type of head. When I finally got a hold of one it fit almost perfectly and is nice and snug on the cheeks.
The catch here is that it's somewhat difficult to pull on and off, especially on the ears, because of how close together/sung the cheek part is and that there's very little give when trying to pull them apart to get it on or off your head.
I've gone as far as sanding slight depressions into the dense base layer foam in the front and back in one of my full face helmets. I'm sure this detracts from the protection that was "engineered" into the helmet even though I only took out a millimeter or so at most. It did make the helmet much more comfortable.

I have a very oval shaped head and I wear a Shoei Platinum RJ but I still need to stick a hat jack inside to slightly crush the padding on the forehead area to get the needed room.

I have an H-D "Trail" 3/4 helmet made by KBC - $140 at your H-D dealer. I'm an oval head and it fits me pretty good. Is there air leakage at the forehead? Yes a little, but not bad. I've ridden in 34 degree temperatures with it and have been quite comfortable along with a neck gaitor. I would have froze with a half helmet at that temp. Not trying to sell you a helmet, just saying that I like mine.

I have two 3/4 helmets and they both fit a little different. The Fulmer V2 is tight around my face and a Rockhard American Classic that has a bit of a gap around my face.
The Rockhard is a much nicer helmet but the Fulmer fits better.
You might also want to check on the Daytona Crusier.

I jet started wearing an RJ and have that same issue. I'm hoping the padding with squish a bit on the forehead. Gets a little uncomfortable towards the end of the day. I'm not an oval head though.

Google, Hat Jack Hat Stretcher, they are $20. I find they do the trick on getting the needed room. Get the correct size as they come in 3 sizes. Much better than going through that pain.
