Default Fox Creek leather thickness?

I have a Fox Creek vented reflector jacket that I purchased from them about 3 years ago. I'm thinking about purchasing another jacket from them but I heard that they had reduced the thickness of their leather. I like the thickness of my vented reflector jacket from them and dont want to go any thinner. They list their current jackets at 1.4 to 1.6mm thick. I dont know what my vented reflector jacket was for thickness. Any idea when foc creek reduced the thickness of their leather?

Call them and ask. I can't imagine they would not answer your question. Especially since you are indicating you want another.
Never hurts to ask

Leather is also commonly measured in ounces. 1.4mm - 1.6mm leather is 3.5 - 4 oz. If they tagged it as ounces, then changed to mm, it would seem they went WAY thinner.

Don't know if that happened, or if you did or did not know this info...

My Grayson is so thick and heavy that if it was any thicker or heavier I wouldn't be able to wear it. I've been so impressed with the quality and durability of my Grayson I ordered a commander just the other day. The fox creek website says 4oz thick leather. I don't know if it was ever any thicker than that.

Their jackets used to be 1.6 to 1.8mm. Tried calling multiple times today with no answer.
