Our July trip it was 90 in Leggit and 50 in Ft Bragg.

 

I have yet to take it north of Davenport and Havnt been on the 101 north of Frisco. Someday.

 

High 60s here but it's gotten cloudy and windy.

 

You need to do the big tree's if you haven't yet , friggin awesome . I've ridden 1 / 101 from the tip of the Olympic peninsula up in Puget Sound all the way to San Diego . Took a week one way of doing the sites casually and was worth the trip . Expect to get wet up north , get drowned every damn time I go through the Seattle area .....

 

I agree. Also have never ridden Yosemite or the sequoias in the mountains. Never done death valley in bloom either. Dam this is a big state.

 

Leave Death Valley to 4 wheels , to really see what it's all about you need to be off the beaten path and sucken lots of dirt & rocks .

Do 1 north cut over past Denny's place do the Sequoias , overnite in the valley under half dome in Yosemite then take the pass ride over the top to 395 and do the Mono lake / Mammoth Mountain tour .

 

Need to ditch the wife, kid, n job so I can tramp around for a few years...

Nah you could do that trip on a good 4 day weekend with a tent & bag . You wanna make a good week out of it talk to me about the volcano tour I like to do up here . I hit 70 up by Oroville over to Quincy then north up over Mt. Lassen kinda like a mini Yellowstone with mud lakes & steam vents & stuff . Up into Lassen Lave beds to do the Ice caves then a day up around Crater Lake poking around . Drop out to the coast and catch 101 and coast south down through the trees & Clear Lake area .

 

..........We usta do some Campin & Drinkin around Clear Lake .
