Sonora Pass is a kick *** run,12 percent and better grades going down the west side. The Giant Forest is one you can't afford to miss. NO one ever gets used to how big those suckers are.You got the longest point to point distance of any state south of Alaska,860 miles,in Cal. Gotta' disagree with Twizted though,on the Death Valley Run. Yeah, there are a lot of cool vistas off road. But take the run outa' San Berdoo, thru Barstow, into Death Valley, out the NE to Tonapah, down to Bishop, and south on 14,down the Eastern Sierra Scarp, past Mt. Williamson, and Whitney. Wall of 14,000 foot peaks on either side of you only 20 miles apart.Best mountain vistas in the US. Take 58 over Tehachapi,to 33 outa' Taft,Maricopa,Carrizo Plain, and home. You won't forget that one.

You've got some beautiful riding out there on the coast. I'd love to cruise that sometime.
100% chance of snow? High of 3 degrees? Looks like my riding season is done.
