Riding in the Snow?

Riding in the Snow?
It’s a comfortable 66 degrees here in the City of Angels, but given that most of the country is in the middle of a “Polar Vortex”, I went looking around on YouTube to see if I could find any videos of any arctic-grade Harley action. This morning, I saw a clip of trikes “drifting” in the snow on Facebook, and it looked like goofy fun, but thought the video I posted below was a lot more intense.
From the description, it looks like the guy just did this for ***** and giggles, not out of any real need to get somewhere. Like most other riders, I’ve had to travel through less than perfect conditions—light snow, torrential Florida rain—but there’s no way I’d have elected to fire up the bike in those situations. Personally, I think this looks scary as hell.

2 years ago,I got caught in a chip sealing operation trying to get home,a 300 mile detour was my other option. Rode 9 miles on 2 inches of inch and a half size gravel. Wildest effin' ride I ever had. Rode one mile in a hail storm last year.Parked, and called a buddy with a trailer.I'm just not THAT stupid,I guess.

About a year ago buddy and I went on a PGR mission about 220 miles from home. Rain was in the forecast and we were prepared. What we were NOT prepared for was a hundred miles of riding through a snow storm. Had my FF modular on but the snow just stuck to the shield so had to keep it up and deal with the snow in my face. There are times when you just have to deal with what the weather throws at ya.
