Default Best chrome platers in Southern California

Have some parts that I want to chrome. Looking for the best chrome platers here in Southern California. Also, does anyone have experience with Brown's or even Meclec in Northern California?

Default chrome platers

Try Hoak Brothers in San Bernardino. I think they are still there. Quality work.

I know that many places send their parts to Meclec -- my buddy has had several pieces done by them and has been quite happy with the result. He was told of the Meclec by a place on the east coast when he called them to see where they got their stuff chromed and they told him Meclec -- what was even better, its just around the corner from where he works.

Due to California regulations, many of the SoCal chrome shops actually send their stuff down to Mexico to get done.

This can give you excellent work, as the people are talented, experienced, hard working and pretty inexpensive. Keeps the environmental issues in Mexico, but still allows you to deal with a USA company.

Now much of that poluted air and water just flows right back to the US, but that seems to be a system that the government allows.
