3/4 helmet

There's some pretty ugly people here, are you sure you want pics? You could be damaged for life.
I don't have a pic of me, not because I'm one of the ugly ones, but because I'm too old to give a crap what I look like to the rest of the world.
My 3/4 is a Bell 500, not the lowest profile around but not the biggest. I wear it because it's the most comfy one I've tried. And comfort should be your first consideration, so find something that feels strapped to your head and then decide if the looks work for you. The better it feels the longer you can ride.

Worried about what you look like? Ever seen a helmet that you just couldn't live without? Get something comfortable. That fits your head in a style and color that you like. If your buying for looks than your screwed already. If your buying because your required to wear one than your still screwed. If your buying one because of skills----get a full face with chin bar. Open casket most of the time. Most dot approved helmets have padding that makes them look big. The best way to hide that is with a aerodynamic full face. They usually don't look as moon faced. Seen some non dot helmets that were not bulky but why bother---they don't protect much. Billions of helmet threads here. You could do a search and read for days.

I understand your concern(really i'm the same way)... but the real truth is.... Us on our bikes have a hard enough time being seen by everyone else on the road. The last thing they look at is how our helmet looks.
