Does a battery tender draw much power

Battery Tender
I live in Colorado and may go several weeks without riding in the winter months.I have 2 tenders running full time, whatever small energy consumption there may be is certainly less than a new battery every 2 years.

Ha! You would think but I've already had one battery die on me. I really like knowing the battery is in good health even when I can't ride for a couple weeks.

You spend more to turn on a bathroom light and the time using it before you turn it off when you don`t need it any longer. Don`t sweat the small stuff. I heat my garage when the temp. drops below freezing, plus I can ride within just a few days anyway. The weather here usually doesn`t stay cold for too long, so my battery always stays charged from riding.

REALLY?? Hawaii has electric rates 3 times the national average at $.34/kwh. That is why I can't wait till my PV panels are installed. We do have a lot of sunshine.

when the green light is on, battery is up to charge, so the only thing using ELC is that little bitty green LED light which may cost ys .50 cents a yr...
