Default Does a battery tender draw much power

The last few months I have been too busy to ride more than maybe once a week (if that) so I started using a battery tender.

Anyone know if a tender makes much of a difference on the electric bill?

Insignificant, you won't be able to tell the difference.

Ditto, they typically only put out somewhere between .75 to 1.25 Amps

Using three of them since November. Haven't noticed a difference.

They don't draw much power, but if you're riding once a week, you should be ok anyway.

Just unhook the tender and buy a new battery if you're that worried about it.

i use two of them,

I wouldn't worry about the extra 60 cents on the electric bill.

Yep,mine draws 1.25 amps and see no difference on elec bill. I got into the habit of plugging it in every night. No big deal, use it.

Been running more than 10 battery tenders now for the last 15 yrs or more 24/7 honestly have never noticed any difference in light bill. Doesn't matter either way it on average doubled the lives of all battery. One deep cycle battery we have is now near 15 yrs old and still going strong.
