Default What ya'll think bout this deal?

Ad says. "1990 Fatboy. One owner.19,000 miles. Immaculate condition. Asking $5500.00" It has been advertised for the last couple of months in the local sales paper for $7500.00. Looks like he dropped the price a couple of thou. He has it at the local indie shop. Think I might just go check it out tomorrow.

If it's in good shape and you like it go for it. I don't know what the actual market value is on one but 5500 don't sound bad at all. I personally loved the silver with yellow stripes they did on the 90 FB.

If it is in original condition and in as good as shape as advertised I believe I will buy it. Like I need another bike. Got my 1964 DuoGlide. 2007 Ultra and 1998 Valkryie. But. Like the Indians believed. The more horses you owned the richer you were.

Ok. I checked it out. Good and bad. To some it might not be bad.
It is not original.
Not as "immaculate" as ad said.
Has tall apes. First thing I would change.
Cheap chrome after market fender tips.
Some kind of pewter eagle on front fender.
Rear fender has dent.
All the lights have visors with HD logo.
Paint is faded.
New rear tire.
Rear belt looks good.
Running lights.
Has wind screen but is frosted.
After market seat.
Small leather bags.
Judging from wear on brake pedal and shifter pegs 19,000 miles seems right.
Needs some TLC.
Think I will shoot the guy a $4500.00 offer and go from there.

There was never a Harley Davidson made that didn't need some small changes made. It sounds like you found another bike. Enjoy it.
