Probably. I just find it funny that he made that mistake in the title and the ad.

Either that, or the rear cylinder is seized up.

But in 1997, shouldn't that be a 88" motor? The old 80" shovel was 1340.

All stock evolution motors are 80"; the first twin cam was 88ci. It wasn't until 1980 that you could get an 80" shovelhead... in 1980 you could buy an 80" shovelhead or special order a 74" shovel. I don't think it was till like, 83 or 84 that all shovels were 80ci except for the cop bikes.

My question about it was what size motor on the 1997. I'm aware of the 80" shovelhead in 1980. I had a 1980 Low Rider with one.

So in 1997, was that motor a Evolution, or Twin Cam?

Edit: Never mind. I googled it. Evolution until 2001.

Not to worry, they didn't - however there was a company in Hollywood Florida back in 2005 or so that was importing these 250-350cc look-a-likes from China.
They were pure junk, the warranty was meaningless and parts were for all practical purposes nonexistent. A friend of mine bought one based only on looks, needless to say, it was grossly underpowered. I think he paid about $2500 for it new and got a fraction of that when he sold it. A Harley-Davidson it's NOT.

"Needs a battery and a title".
For $3900, I guess you should not expect too much.

Actually it was 1978 1/2. I bought one over 30 years ago and still have it.
'78 1/2 was also when they first went to electronic ignition. It was junk, so most were converted back to points, including mine.
