'77 wide glide
I have a '77 Super Glide with a Wide Glide front end and rear fender. It has a virtually new S&S 88" kit with the S&S computer balanced flywheel. New RevTec 4 speed trans, S&S carb. It sat for about 9 years in a garage without being started. It has been recently rebuilt from the frame up, and the friend who did the rebuild is interested in buying it. I want him to have it, but I don't know what to ask for it. Any suggestions on what a good price would be for both of us?

For what it's worth, I usually pay between 4-6k for my shovel projects depending on what they need. I just sold a 1980 wide glide that I built with a 3-inch belt drive, 6-speed tranny, new-style starter and a new top end for 7500. Kinda depends on your area and the time of year...and it takes someone who likes and appreciates Shovels...

I"ll stick my neck out -around here that would be worth at least 5k,maybe $7500. I don't know the market in your area though, could be higher,or lower...
Maybe add up your cost, and add some $$ for your time? Now I'm talking actual sales price, not some inflated 'asking' price. Would make a nice bike for someone that WANTS a shovel, especially if it runs as good as it looks.

Kali prices for a custom like that would be in the 4.5-6.K range. Stock or close to stock can add another grand.
Nice looking bike you have...

I should clarify that the bike had all the upgrades before it was rebuilt. The rebuild was basically to clean it up and look it over. Most repairs were minor; wear and tear stuff.
