Default twin cam rebuild

looking for a good wrench in se ga area/n fl area to do a rebuild on my 02 twin cam 88 . want to go to geared cam and while at it a slight cubic inch addition nothing radical just a touring bike. bike and engine are fine with 60k miles. just getting nervous of the cam tensioners. while at it lets do an upgrade.

I would recommend the Feuling oil pump and cam support plate, and woods .510 cams, nice lift short duration...lots of torque, the 95 big bore kit and a screamin eagle clutch spring, I'd also go with screamin eagle rockers, jims lifters and pushrods, that way your entire valve train is new... parts in the neighborhood of $3500, I am just south of Tampa and can get all this done, it's basically a parts change, nothing too difficult...end up with about 100 Hp and about the same torque
if it's fuel injected I have the right tuner with a program to tune it, carb I have the jets needed...

Here's my thoughts...you have a 60,000 mile touring bike, you may open up a can of worms you cannot close without a buttload of cash...my suggestion is a reman engine, 2 weeks -1 month your engine all new for $3150.00 I can imagine shipping will be tacked on by the dealer, plus removal and install costs... sure you won't have bragging rights as to performance mods but you will have a brand new engine and after all it is a bagger, I may be talking myself out of a job, I'm just thinking what's best for you...JMO
