Redoing a Sundowner seat - worth it?
Has anyone here ever had a Sundowner Deep-Bucket seat redone by someone like Mean City Cycle, and was it worth it? I like the Sundowner on my Heritage, but it isn't as comfortable as the seat on my Dyna was after I got it back from Mean City. But maybe that's just because of the different riding position. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

It was worth it for me on my RK. Mean City narrowed the seat which brought my legs closer to the bike giving me some bend in my knees when flat footed. Much better now at stops, stopping on a grade, and backing up the bike. Also had them add memory foam for driver and passenger. Seat is comfortable - no butt burn even during all day rides.

Thanks, Tedjay. Was this a Sundowner Deep Bucket seat that you had done by Mean City, or the stock seat? I don't need mine to be lowered, just (hopefully) more comfort for longer hours in the saddle.
