Default suicide clutch

Hi all
New to the forum
I've recently converted my 2012 Deluxe over to a foot clutch and suicide shift. . I fabbed all my own parts. The problem I have run into is that the foot clutch is extremely tight.
Do I need to adjust something eternally ? Or change the fulcrum point of my cable and pivot ?
Any help would be great. Thanks

It's cool that you made the parts and did the work yourself. My favorite modes are the ones I get to use creativity in, not just bolt on stuff.

Now on topic. Its hard for us to imagine a solution without some idea of the design details. Some pics and details would help.

You needa higher post count first - introduce yourself in the Newbie section, tell a joke in the Humor section...

Can't you adjsut the cable to loosen it up a little? On my foot clutch the pedal was much higher up giving it more throw. I'd try that first. Just slide the pedal off the splined shaft and put it so it sits up a little higher. I ran a cable that had no adjuster on it. It ran around the frame down tubes and across to where the foot clutch was.

LMAO!!! good one.

OP, I too would like to see some pics of your bike with this set up. I also have a 2012 Deluxe. Not looking at doing this to mine but think it's really cool you did it to yours.

Haha.... I'm assuming the picture uploaded upside down.
The thread won't let me view my own picture .. I'm assuming because I'm the FNG.
I'll try to unFu*K it.
