Default Motorcycle Dolly - AWESOME!

I wanted to share with y'all something that I picked up the other day.

After browsing some shop/garage stuff, I came across a motorcycle dolly from Harbor Freight. I love these guys anyways, but figured I check it out, especially for the excellent price! I also checked out a YouTube video of a guy using it for his non-Harley (not worth mentioning, haha).

I have an '05 Wide Glide and it's a TIGHT fit! Anything longer than stock is NOT going to fit on this thing (not sure about the slightly longer rake on the newer one). Assembly instructions, like most, sucked but with a little common sense and a cold brew to assist, it came together without concern.

Once the bike is on, it's stable by flipping the arms at either end, and flipping those up allows me to easily push this 650lbs bike around the garage.

The only thing that I would change: I'd like to have a non-slip "Line X" layer I the kickstand section of the dolly. It's still not going anywhere when I first tested it, but the other added bonus would be to reduce the scratching and eventual small amount of rust. I'll grab some of the Herculiner stuff cheap to help, but overall this thing is awesome.

I was also able to pick it up at the local store, 20% coupon and no shipping needed!

$80 on sale!!
Low Profile Motorcycle Dolly

(PS, we don't need to comment on filthy she is right now; the constant on/off snowing is keeping her from a good cleaning - SPRING is coming!!)

I have two in use and plan on adding more. It is great to stack the bikes close to each other for storage. With 13 bikes I need the ability to move and store as easily as possible.

Many bad mouth HF but this item is well built and at a lower cost than any competitor's product.

I've had mine for a couple years and it needs loctite on the assembly nuts and some lube on the casters. Still works great for 50 bucks

If the dolly is a little short for some bikes, I don't see why you couldn't drill and bolt on some short 3/4" plywood extenders.

What is the weight limit on that dolly? Nevermind. I looked at the link. 1250 lb capacity. I think I know what I am getting the father in law for his next birthday.

I like it. Also, you can add your own non slip surface.

I have and use one. I works great. I found the wheels to be the weak point of it and replace with better as they fail. I had to add a little extension on the side piece for the jiffy stand.
