So far got the trip and reservations set up for Sturgis. Got some free passes to the HD Museum in Milwaukee and in the early stages of planning that trip in early June. Now a buddy is trying to talk me into doing an Iron Butt ride from Omaha to Grand Forks ND. Little over 1K miles straight up I29 and back again in May. Thinking about one other ride in July down to the Lake of the Ozarks. The only one I'm positive about doing so far is Sturgis.

Closest I can get to riding for the time being.

Anyone else plotting some trips?

 

I had time to plan also. For the first time in years I did not get any January or February riding in. We had an incredible number of below zero days

So, I planned enough rides to make up for it. The longest will be To Yellowknife in June. I will do the HD Museum this year and Sturgis. There is a small rally in Auburn Indiana that is interesting. I always do Laughlin, Anamosa Ia, and Ride the River (formerly Sturgis on the River in Dav. Ia.

I am retired so so I can plan for many trips. At least one of my sons will be on most of the trips. Yellowknife will be solo.

 

Plotting trips?

Just got to keep on wishing for spring to spring...trip planning's a good way to pass time. Just stay away from dealerships during our off-season...they're wallet vampires.

 

It's going to be 80° today, I don't have time to plan trips. I'm riding!

 

80 uggg. It's 20 here today, the snow is just starting, and they are calling for 6-8" and then high's in the single digits next week.

 

Thanks we needed that ! Going to Sturgis and staying at the Chip, Some trips to Madison, WI in May and early June, Medora, ND in June, Grand Rapids, MI in July. Maybe back to Va in early Sept. Oh definitely want to fit in the circle tour around Lake Superior.

 

Going to our sons weedding in Ohio is the major one. Hoping to hit the museum in Wi this year. Wanna do Ride the River in Davenport. Lake Okoboji is another.

Oh also wnna do the steel toe tour at the KC plant.

A few weeks ago I got couple of rides planned into new areas and booked rooms for Laconia.
With another snow storm coming in tomorrow night the cabin fever really kicked in....I had to do something "bike-ish".
So I built a rack to hold the hard bags during cleaning and service.....Maybe I'll wax the bags on it tomorrow
