Default 2014 model line up, is Bagger a trend?

Harley probably sees more people transform their Sportsters and Dynas to baggers. Starting from Switchback, now a brand new 1200T. Good sales marketing!

Wow I never thought that Harley would come out with a sportster bagger. I guess they are seeing that younger riders want lighter tourers but Honda had already figured that out and came out with something so much better.

Not that it's a new trend, but yes, baggers seem to be more popular than ever. I think models like the 1200T and Switchback are the best of both worlds in that you have the practicality of the bags, and still have the clean, stripped-down styling with the bags and windshield quickly removed.

They just repeating one that they offered in the 70's. HD just recycles it's models. Nothing wrong with that.

theres a lot more $$$$ just adding parts + changing colors! as long as they sell, poor brakes + suspension will never get improved!! i was reading in europe Victory cruisers sell for them, few baggers and some are special order only. its all about PROFITS!!!!

according to HD's sales numbers the touring line outsells all their bikes combined.

I must be either way ahead or behind the curve. Traded my bagger in for a Dyna 6 months ago. Don't plan on ever going back.
