Default tools for the ride

just wondering what tools do you guys pack in your bag(s)? Gotta have essential tools for the ride. What do you carry? Sorry if this has been discussed before. I searched for it and could find nothing.

A Visa card and a Cruz Tools roll with a few extras, ie: flashlight, snap-on 6" adjustable, a few zip ties and some thin haywire...

Adjustable wrench, set of standard allens, and maybe some torx as well.

Take what you are comfortable using on the side of the highway, in the parking lot of your motel, or outside your tent.

If that is a cell phone and a credit card, your packing is quick and easy.

I carry a lot of tools, but I ride alone along way from home.

Basics:
air compressor
tire plug kit
vice grips
linesman pliers
6" crescent wrench
8" crescent wrench
socket set
a 6" socket extension
2 philips head screwdrivers
2 slot screwdrivers
Torx bit set
allen wrench bit set
3 led flashlights
several wireties
electrical tape

Long runs, I add to it.

I've been lucky, I have never had to work on my bike on a trip (knock on wood). I am religious about upkeep and maintenance.
I have worked on others though.

I always carry my card and cell with me, riding or not, but my fork bag will typically have the following items:
  • small mag-light/extra batteries
  • Leatherman (multi-tool)
  • wire stripper/cutter
  • spark plug socket & rachet
  • extra spark plug(s)
  • small adjustable wrench(s)
  • vice grips
  • flat/phillip screwdrivers
  • nut driver
  • couple of rags
  • zip ties
  • lock-tite
  • small roll of wire
  • sandpaper/emory cloth
  • a few hose clamps
  • extra nuts, bolts & washers
  • a small flask of gasoline
