I saw an ad for Dead Center Cycles earlier where they are making batwing style fairings for the Dyna, Softail and Sportster lines. Not bad looking IMO. Good way to outfit those bikes with stereo's and 6x9 speakers. Might be nice for touring as well. You have to relocate the turn signals and install a headlight adapter to move it out a little but no major modifications required. Just thought I'd pass this along

Before I bought my street glide vi had an idea about getting a fat bob with a fairing, and building a sort of mini road glide. But I decided I was better off just getting the street glide.

I saw a super glide custom on CL once that a guy put a batwing on. Looked kinda dumb - headlight didn't fit the fairing and the whole thing looked unproportional. This one don't look bad compared to the failed attempts to retrofit an existing fairing

One of the guys at my indy has a dyna with a road glide fairing and bags. It actually looks pretty damn good.

I just thought it was nice because it looked different than the usual SOA looking fairing and still very functional. I bet it would be nice on a Switchback - but then again I think they have a larger headlight?

yeah the switchback uses the 7" light. but it'll take any of the batwings that are meant for the fatboy's and heritages.
