has anybody tried the smartphone link app for the nuvi line of gps to get the weather radar wondering how the battery last in the smartphone with that app on. Was thinking about getting the cheaper gps instead of the zumo line with the smartphone app but didnt know how long battery last in smartphone with that app running in background.

 

Haven't tried the app but you could get a SAE to USB adapter to charge your phone while using it.

 

yea i was just trying to see if anybody has used it and is the weather radar as good as what comes on the 665lm dont want to spend the buck for the 665lm
