Fridays ride
So I finally got to ride on Friday. Was a great day. My cousin who owns a Fatboy went with me. When he pulls up to my house I notice he has removed the HD emblems from his tank. Upon further inspection i notice any emblem that could be removed has been. I asked him why he did it and he told me he didn't want to advertise for HD. I thought it strange that he did this. What do you guys think?

Thats what I was going to say. Its not like people won't know what kind of bike it is just because you take the emblems off. Your still advertising for HD simply by buying the bike.

Funny.
It's like hair. Those of us who do not have a lot covet more, and those who have lots of hair, get buzz cuts or shave their heads!
My wife loves the tank emblems.
She has had a Sportster and two Heritages and none of them had or have tank emblems.
I (we) like keeping our bikes as stock as possible (paint wise) so if they come with, or without emblems, that's the way they remain.

I took the emblems off my street glide. The only stock parts left on it are the tank and faring. The emblems on my deluxe will be coming off after it's painted but probably replaced with some old school harley emblems. Some times you like the bike but the particular logo on tank may not be up to par. If he doesn't like the emblems that's his choice.
