Arizona riding
I'm in Sedona this week on vacation...in a rental car. Dammit! Bikes everywhere and today I drove what has to be a top 10 motorcycle road. Arizonans must be familiar with it, based on the bike traffic I saw today. Highway 89A between Jerome and Prescott Valley is AMAZING! Now on the bucket list!

Can't find a dealership to rent a bike?
I have a friend who takes his wife to Maui every year on the condition he gets to rent a bike and spend one day on his own. Works out well for both of them.

Closest one might be in Prescott or maybe Flagstaff? Not sure. Too late now though, tomorrow we'll be riding quads in the mountains all day, looking forward to that. Flying home on Tuesday.

Gawd, we took that ride on the way back from house hunting in Prescott. The highway had been ground, and no guard rails ever. Worst white knuckle ride I've ever had.
This flatlander is not happy on those mountain roads.

Make the ride from Flag all the way to Prescott on 89A. It's an amazing ride. Go out across Verde Valley and up into Page. Another good riding road. Kinda chilly this time of year though because of the altitude. Another good ride is Route 66 out west of Kingman to the river.

It's obviously been resurfaced recently, it's in perfect condition. And guard rails are over-rated
