Is it J&P Cycles policy to lie to customers?
I called Wednesday am to order a part, said to the representative "I need this part by Friday, will it ship today? "yes sir, it will ship today out of Daytona and it will be there in 2 days!" LIE
Thursday, online status is - not yet shipped
I contact customer service - Hello this package was supposed to be shipped yesterday as per the order "sir, the package is being loaded on the truck as we speak" LIE
Friday - online status is still - not yet shipped. I'm not going to call, I just wont spend my money there ever again and who wants to hear another LIE
Complete and total BS. I could have ordered it from someone further away and likely already had the part in hand.

Had good and bad service from them. So many options out there. If you can plan ahead and dont mind waiting, that makes things easier.

When they are good, they are good. But when something goes wrong, they don't step up to the plate and make it right.
There are too many companies out there with great prices/service to gamble with J&P anymore.

Darn right. It is 100% the OPs fault that the supplier did not keep their promise not once but twice.

It's pretty common for internet companies in general to ship slow or late due to the supply issue. Several ship from a warehouse that they don't themselves control but they tell you what you want to hear to keep the sale. They deal with so many customers that most don't care if you ever return, they will find another to buy the next product! I have returned to paying a little extra to buy local and get the service I expect.
