Default Couldnt wait anymore. rode in the rain to work

I was sick of waiting for decent weather here in Michigan. I have been able to get the bike out in the evening for short periods here and their but im SICK of waiting for decent weather to ride it to work. With no rain gear I rode it to work today. My paints are wet but not to bad. I should be dry by the end of the day

Man it feels good to ride doesn't it......

any others sick of the rain we are getting in the north east?

ABSOLUTLY!

I was having so much fun that I actually enjoyed the awful spray of water the front wheel throws right up my face because I have no front fender.

I don't consider Wisconsin (or Michigan for that matter) the Northeast, but I'll answer the question because we sent that rain your way. No, I am not sick of the rain. In fact I welcome it. It's washing the salt off the road and speeding up the snow melting process. There's very little snow in my yard now.

My traditional "bike on the road" date is April 1st. Short of a major snow storm (bbrrrrrrrr!) I see no problem in accomplishing that this year.

Glad you got the bike out and enjoyed the ride. Watch those pot holes.

Ha...only way my bike gets washed is when I ride in the rain...or get caught in it rather.

Don't know how you do it. I have to keep my bikes as spotless as I can. unless I intentionally ride in the dirt or rain.

I wait until the rain has really cleaned the roads.
Otherwise the water is just an activator for the salt.
