Default Throw on a sissy bar and voila! You've got yourself a "custom".

I'm not posting this to get into a discussion on the definition of a "custom", but c'mon, man. It's gotta be more than throwing on some straight pipes and a sissy bar!

Wasn't there a "Sportster Custom" designation from the factory? I know there was a Sportster Low, Sportster Roadster, etc.,.

In fact there was. I have one. It includes forward controls, a 21" front rim and drag bars with tall risers. It's msrp was around $700.oo more than the basic model.

It's a custom edition, not custom built or customized.

well my bike was customized by me for me, and to me it is a
custom bike. You will never see me using the word "custom"
in order to sell it.
