Thanks.

The only way you'd know for sure is to test a bunch of them against a known accurate pressure source.
Probably no more or less accurate than any other similar gauge. They're probably all cranked out of the same factory in China, anyway.

gauges are usually rated for accuracy by a +/-percentage...usually anywhere from +/-1% to +/- 5%

Harley Davidson tire pressure guages are accurate only if you filled the tire with genuine Harley Davdson air.

It's a pressure release valve (or at least it is on my analogue gauge)

for the price of that i bought a small slime air compressor with digital settings. i push a button and it gets it to the psi i want. plugs in to the acc jack hooked into the battery charge dongle. total cost about 34 bux, doesnt help to know i need air in my tires if i cant do anything about it till i find a gas station. at least thats my 2cents.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...sor-with-light might be worth buying for a buck more if your looking to burn a gift card or store credit on something small.

I prefer synthetic air because it's more resistant to heat, so you can accurately check it when the tire is hot.

I run 100% hydrogen. It's light so there is less bike weight on the ground, increasing MPG's by 15%.
