2 weeks ago we go to the Dealer where I get a discount in Ct (thank you) my Ol' lady wants a new leather coat. They don't have it in her size and they are not ordering right now..WTF.

So she stops in Ma (where we work) and they can get her size...its $450 buck w/no discount (geez).

She picks it up the other day and says they gave her a present..today I look and its a square plastic wash bucket w/a bunch of SMALL samples of cleaning products...

Oh well she's happy so I guess I gotta be happy too.

 

I ran into the " we can order it" at the dealer and other places of business. Generally, The way i see it, is...if you dont have it, you cant sell it and go elsewhere.

 

It's pretty simple. Different dealer, different owner, different policies. What's your point?

 

I guess most don't realize that they can order most of the motorclothes from the online dealers too, like Kutter, etc.

I bought all my heated gear that way from Lake Shore. All at 20% off and no sales tax.

 

Different dealers do it different alright.

I priced two for the same installation and one was $100 more than the other. When I got my bars installed, the higher one was $800 more. So, I'm going to start shopping at the cheaper one, since they're both the same distance from me.

 

All the dealerships in S Fl were giving away those buckets if you spent over $100.

 

in jersey ya gotta spend 300 for the bucket, jeez

 

only gotta spend $75 out here in South Dakota!
