It's been since October but I finally got to ride!
58 degrees and sunny.....it felt great!

Nice to hear you Northeners are finally getting out. I've been riding off and on all year but we haven't have much of a winter this year.

I retired when February started and moved back to MI the next day. Day after that I went for a ride. They cleared the roads and it warmed up to 12F that day.

I doubt you would change your riding habits much if you moved up north. I have been off and on too this winter. Couple weeks the snow was so bad I only got out once a week. Been out riding everyday the past month.


The south is worse. Bugs, spiders that kill, roaches. Riding in 100+ temps with humidity almost as bad. I still rode but its much more comfortable to ride no bugs and 10F than 100 and bugs as thick as the humidity. I will never go south again. Hated it other than in the winter when the heat kinda calmed down.

 

I got my first ride of 2014 in today!
I was riding b!tch with my 12yo daughter steering her(?) 74 Honda CT90.
I loved it, she was hooting the whole time.
Did push the shovel from shed to garage, with wife, daughter and 3 long narrow pieces of plywood. Winter is done, but it is a sea of mud here.
