New City Noise Bylaw targetting motorcycles
This has been out for a bit and I know alot of the local places are against it.
Has anyone else had to deal with this?

Most of us aren't interested in hearing the un-muffled sound of some motorcycle tearing past the house a 2 am. It's about time someone put these inconsiderate criminals in their place.

92 db is the limit at idle and 100 db is the limit at 2500 rpm. Don't know if my monster ovals would pass the test.

The officers would set up their test equipment in a parking space and others would patrol the surrounding area to bring in the motorcyclists for testing. I suspect the pilot project will become permanent just like they did with the radar photos.
