Got me some Power Ranger gloves
And to my surprise, I dig em.
Though a suit of armor would be useless in some situations, I've been thinking about bones I'd rather not break if it could be at all helped. Hands are right up there, since I work with them. Plus, I'd rather not invent new and interesting ways to wipe my ****.
So the thin leather Harley gloves I have been riding with for 15 years have been put in the retired gear bin. And I got these. I don't like the silly branding in the palm. But they grip well, vent well, and even have some wrist bone protection.
They don't look as huge on the bike. They kinda just blend in.

I was going to say that they looked like they'd be hot but you said they vent well. I know it gets warm in Southern California but here, they'd HAVE TO vent.

Ya, those are vents in the knuckles. I figure it doesn't hurt to try new things and see if you like them.
We stay pretty fair here all year long. But in the summer we can get past 90 or so in the city of L.A. proper. But no humidity. (Hotter in the Valleys and deserts of course.)
I'll have to test them out more to really know how they handle different temps. But I'm fortunate that it's not a huge concern here. They actually might be too cold in the winter, if anything.

I feel a disconnect to my bike when riding with gloves...
In other words, i don't like riding with them.
That larger wrist part would bother with. Even when I wear work gloves I roll the part with the Velcro over its self and strap it. I'm weird I know.
If I did get a pair it'd be the ones with the carbon fiber knuckles, just in case my hand accidentally "falls" on someone mug. : )

I dunno I ride with light weight gloves with knuckle protectors. They breath great even in higher temps and my hands don't sweat a great deal in them.I have had a few bugs and rocks smash into my hands that were quite painfull. I have a better grip on the clucth and throttle too. I feel naked without them on the scoot.

I like em.. Where did you buy them, How much? How true is the sizing? I tend to wear L in the mechanix gloves.. I have gotten to wear I feel naked if I dont wear gloves when I ride.. So I am always on the look out for a light weight glove with optimal protection...

Went down in September after T-boning a deer at 63mph with thin Harley leather gloves. The ensuing road rash made these more reasonable.
Ride Safe.

It's not "power ranger" gear. It is normal gear that will save your bones, skin, and possibly your life. The only fool out there is the guy who dresses for the ride and winds up as jello on the pavement.
