Default Helmet opinion

Hey guys, I stopped by my harley dealer and tried on helmets today. I've tried on tons of half helmets and they all seem to fit really awkward. Just out of curiosity I tried on this women's helmet today and it fit like a glove. My question is would any of you guys ever wear this helmet or does it look too girly?

I wouldn't wear it but it may look good on you!
Seriously though I tried on many until I settled on the Bell Pit Boss that has adjustable band and I really like it.

That helmet is rad! I wear a FF all the time, but I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on that. No one you pass on the road will know the difference, promise.

Ummm....well.....NO.

Order a couple from Revzilla and then return whichever one you don't like the most. I recently got a Nolan modular that is AWESOME. Yeah, it was more than my original budget but it is worth every penny and more.

Half helmets never seemed to fit me right. I got a bell 3/4
And it fits like a give. Maybe give that a try.

Does it have to say Harley-Davidson on it?

If not, go to a metric dealer where they stock lots of HJC, Bell, maybe even Shoei helmets. Try a few on, then order from a place like Revzilla. Helmets from Harley are apparently non-returnable - look at the link you posted.

That helmet is a slight variation of a $60 HJC helmet. You can get an HJC or a Bell with an integrated sun shield for less than $130. Unless the variation in the design is what actually makes it fit you...

I have HJC FF helmets and Bell Pit Boss 1/2 helmets. I like both for different purposes, but most of the summer I don't wear a helmet at all. In my experience, 1/2 helmets are noisier (wind) than not wearing one.

That's just a little bit too feminine, if you ask me.

Try this one instead. Not quite as girly looking.

Give Bell Pit Boss a try, it has a adjustable head band just like a hard hat...I have one and love it

Not for me - I'm an ATGATT type of guy and I prefer the protection of a FF and have a very comfortable glossy black model EXO900 modular Scorpion helmet. As always, YMMV, enjoy the ride and be safe.
