Traded In The RKC For 14' RK Today
We'll today I pulled the trigger and traded in my 10' RKC (black) for a new 14' RK with ABS! I do like the looks of the leather saddle bags on the RKC better than the hard bags on the new RK but after having leather bags I want hard bags now more for the function and maintenance. I think I got a good price on my trade after going back and forth with the salesman. I also didn't have to pay for the $510 wheel option upgrade, $435 freight and $500 set up fee. They also delivered from PA to NY for me.

That is a pretty nice looking bike, not going to lie. I have a question. I see tons of people trading in bikes that are relatively new. Did you have your old road king paid off? Or did you owe on it and they gave you less in trade than you owed? Just curious. I have a honda that I want to get rid of but I still owe 6900

Thanks! I was gonna go with another black one but they're not easy to fine with ABS in my area so I seen this one in person and really liked it and the wife loved it so........

Yes it was paid off. They ended up giving what the NADA trade in value was. I could have sold it for more but after figuring the tax difference and time wasted trying to sell ect ect ect and the fact that I saved on wheels, freight, and set up fees I figured it would work for me.
I could get rid of my bike earlier if I sold it privately but I HATE dealing with craigslist. It's more of a pain than it's worth. Enjoy your new bike!!

Awesome Looking King !. Had a '06 RKC myself and loved the nostaglic looks though. The color you got is ULTRA sharp.
Enjoy,
